"A voice as smooth, smoky and mellow as a good whiskey" (Au Review)
"‘Long Ride Home’ which is an intoxicating tune indicative of Granger’s talent and has that ‘smooth whiskey’ feel."(Glam Adelaide)
Ciaram Granger is a Blues, Roots, and Folk performer from Adelaide, South Australia, known for his dynamic stage presence, rhythmic guitar work, and raw, foot-stomping sound. Armed with his 12-string guitar, Weissenborn lap slide, harmonica, and stomp-box, Ciaram has crafted a distinctive musical style that blends storytelling with percussive acoustic grooves — captivating audiences from small country pubs to festival main stages around the world.

Starting his live music journey at just 18, Ciaram cut his teeth in Adelaide’s pub scene before taking his music to international audiences. He has since performed more than 3,000 shows across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, the UK, and the Netherlands, building a loyal following with his down-to-earth energy and honest, road-worn songwriting.

In 2013, he released his debut self-titled album — a mix of swampy blues riffs and soaring Weissenborn folk ballads — which went on to sell over 5,000 copies and received consistent radio airplay throughout Europe. That same year, he was invited to showcase at Canadian Music Week, representing Australia’s Blues & Roots scene on an international stage. The following year, he was a grand finalist in the Telstra Road to Discovery, cementing his place as one of the country’s most promising independent artists.

Ciaram has shared stages with the likes of Tony Joe White, Paul Dempsey, Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca, Bonjah, and Jordie Lane, and has played some of Australia’s most loved venues and festivals, including Fleurieu Folk Festival, Follow the Sun, Blenheim Fest, Breminale (Germany), and Blues in the Barossa.

After taking a break from touring during the COVID years, Ciaram has returned with renewed focus and fire — bringing his signature blend of blues and folk to new audiences, with a sound that’s as soulful as it is grounded.
